Madame de Pompadour was a member of the French Court at Versailles and was the secret wife of King Louis XIV – the “King of Sun”. This ring is a homage to the French flamboyant style of the 18 Century. Pastel tones were so fashionable at that time.
This ring is set with an amazing large oval Amethyst surrounded by square amethyst, pear cut pink tourmalines and diamonds. The rose gold band has a gorgeous split which is also adorned by diamonds.
