Australian opals are imbued with the magic of vibrant colour, which reaches into your soul and reflects the beauty of the world around us. The Gerard McCabe Lorikeet necklace features a Remarkable Lightning Ridge Opal with an exceptionally bright play of colours showcasing the full spectrum of the rainbow in all its stunning glory.
This spectacular pendant is a rainbow confection which brings to mind a Lorikeet seen sitting on its branch, high in the trees. The Opal represents its body, while its head is represented by a Pear shaped yellow sapphire surrounded by a halo of diamonds. A total of 109 gemstones feature in this design as the colourful rubies, emeralds, tsavorites and sapphires represent the bright splash of a Lorikeet’s feathers. Elegantly twisting gold embellishment frame the tail feathers of our Lorikeet, beautifully drawing the eye towards the central Opal.
A wearable piece of art which is an expression of joy, laughter and beauty of life, this pendant comes with a matching chain and has been designed in South Australia for the Gerard McCabe Remarkable Rocks collection.
