Announced at the Jewellery Industry Fair in Sydney, Gerard McCabe was recognised for the incredible talent of their team and Design Director, Nazanin Mohammedkhani. The winning design, depicted in this hand-painted artwork, was crafted in an ode to the enchanting Australian rainbow lorikeet. A sibling to their iconic Lorikeet pendant, the ring captures the essence of the spirited Lorikeet at play, with coloured gems trailing down the ring’s shoulders, framed by feathery gold embellishments.Â
Gerard McCabe’s design team, who work tirelessly to deliver some of South Australia’s most celebrated jewellery designs, are today feeling incredibly honoured to be recognised alongside Australia’s best jewellery professionals.Â
“We are proud of this extraordinary achievement. There were some very talented entries and we enjoyed seeing the diversity in Australian jewellery design. Congratulations to Nazanin for her creativity and flair” – Justin McCabe, Managing Director.

A masterful design incorporating natural yellow diamonds and the wings of the Eagle.
Winner – Precious Metals, 3rd Annual Australian Jewellery Awards.
The Eagle ring takes inspiration from the spirit of the animal, its symbolism in cultures and its masterful presence. The central oval cut diamond, at more than 1.5ct, truly glistens and is further complemented by the pink diamonds that sit either side. The rose gold undercarriage and fine detail within, along with the collection of white diamonds, create a ring that is mesmerising from every angle. Delicate curves are used to embody the characteristics of the Eagle.
