We will process your order once we have received your funds into our bank account.
If your order is placed before this cut-off date, and the item(s) purchased is available (in stock) the order will be sent within 1-2 working days after we have received your funds. You will be notified by email or phone call that it has been sent.

Rhodium plating is used on jewellery to create a surface that will resist scratches and tarnish, as well as provide a white, reflective appearance. It is used on white gold, which is an alloy of gold and white coloured metal and naturally is a dull grey colour prior to being plated.

Finding a ring that you adore takes time and patience. A
Gerard McCabe online jewellery purchases can be returned up to fourteen days after receipt of the item for a refund or exchange. The item must be returned, via an insured method, in saleable condition along with the original sales receipt.
A refund will be made to the purchaser upon request (excluding any shipping charges). Gerard McCabe Jewellers will contact the purchaser directly to arrange the funds transfer (refund) or exchange/credit note.

We take great care ensuring your goods have been checked for damages prior to delivery. If however they are found to be damaged or faulty on delivery, please notify us within 2 days of receiving your goods and the faulty item/s will be replaced.

At Gerard McCabe boutiques you can request a valuation of your jewellery. As part of our service, your jewellery will be cleaned then assessed by an independent expert who will provide a written and photographic valuation suitable for insurance purposes. We will also assess the item for any damage or wear and tear issues and recommend any necessary repairs.
You will need to leave your jewellery with us for around 1-2 weeks to have the item assessed and the valuation completed.
If you visit a Gerard McCabe jewellery store, our team are more than happy to assist you and size your finger on the spot. Otherwise, you can use the Gerard McCabe online ring sizing guide, which you can print to determine your ring size with. Please note, paper measuring devices are never as accurate as having your finger sized by a professional.

Yes. Gerard McCabe engagement ring designs can be customised in a number of ways. You can customise the main diamond to your preferred specifications with our strict diamond standards. You can customise the metal type (Platinum or 18ct Gold in White, Yellow or Rose colour). You can often select from a diamond set or classic band, within the limitations of the design. Gerard McCabe Jewellery can often be customised to your preferred metal colour - such as white, yellow or rose gold.
Gerard McCabe also offers a bespoke jewellery design service, allowing customers to design their own, one-of-a-kind jewellery piece. These can be inspired by current Gerard McCabe collection designs, however, we encourage clients to work with our award-winning Design Director, Nazanin to create a piece that is truly suited to their individual style.

Many Gerard McCabe Jewellery items are unique one-off designs and could be located in Adelaide or Melbourne. For this reason, if there is a specific item that you would like to view please contact your preferred store to arrange a time to view the piece.
Yes. Gerard McCabe has a wide selection of pre-approved diamonds on hand that we are able to set into your preferred style. This can be further discussed with a Sales Consultant when discussing your budget and quality preferences.
The typical timeline of our Bespoke Design Service can depend on many factors, but generally speaking from quotation approval to final product it is an 8-week process.
You would expect to have an initial (free of charge) consultation with Nazanin, our Design Director, followed by the development of the concept. Nazanin takes your ideas, hopes and ambitions for the piece from your discussion, and develops them into design sketches for discussion and your approval. You’ll receive a final quotation for the works. From this, you should expect to see your unique, one-of-a-kind jewellery created in around 8-weeks.
How long before my jewellery arrives? Generally speaking, if you order something from our current collections it will be ready for collection six weeks from order date. That being said, anything created through our Bespoke Service, or if the piece itself is a complex design will entail a minimum eight-week delivery. Your sales consultant will be able to advise a more precise delivery timeframe at the time of placing your order.
